Any American will tell you that a game day without chicken ring is just wrong. When millions of Americans tune in on Sunday, the must-serve dish will be chicken wings.

Articles such as "30 easy chicken wing recipes for your super bowl night" went viral months ago. Last year, the National Chicken Council estimated that Americans would consume 1.3 billion chicken wings during Super Bowl 50—that's 162.5 million pounds of wings. Fast food brands such as Papa Johns have geared up for an eaters' night as chicken wings have become a staple on Super Bowl menus.
