BEIJING -- The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hosted dialogues and workshops for 60 Chinese young entrepreneurs Thursday.
With the theme "inclusive design", this year's event hopes to seek solutions for challenges faced by the society, in particular people with disabilities, said Devanand Ramiah, deputy country director of UNDP China.
He said that the National Dialogue aims to bring local youth, government, private sector and academia together, to help young entrepreneurs develop ideas and business models.
During the four-day event, young entrepreneurs will participate in workshops covering the entrepreneurial environment, disability equality training, and business coaching.
Over 2,000 youth from 11 countries in Asia-Pacific region have taken part in the UNDP National Dialogue event.
