Chinese diver awarded for brave rescue

A Chinese rescue diver who rescued three people from a sunken cargo ship has received the 2018 International Maritime Organization Award for Exceptional Bravery at Sea.

Zhong Haifeng, senior diver and deputy of the engineering team of Guangzhou Salvage, led an underwater search and rescue team in 2017 after a bulk carrier crashed into another ship at the port of Guangzhou.
