The egg shell porcelain bowl decorated with the famous Chinese painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" made by the team "Kuaixueshiqing" is compared with a piece of paper for its thickness in Jingdezhen, East China's Jiangxi province, Oct 15, 2019. Egg shell porcelain, a renowned kind of traditional porcelain work produced in Jingdezhen of Jiangxi, is famous for its thin and transparent body which makes it special. Wang Minhui, 40, is head of the egg shell porcelain making team called "Kuaixueshiqing". Wang and his two partners Du Xingyu and Liu Zhen, who take interest in porcelain, founded the team in 2010. The team, now having over 20 members, has insisted in striving for perfection in the craft, and has made in 2013 an egg shell porcelain bowl decorated with the famous Chinese painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival", which boasts of a thickness of less than one millimeter and was painted all in reversed direction. The making of egg shell porcelain requires over ten procedures and firing of three times, all made with hands. Members of the team spend at least two months in preparing a piece of porcelain work with a thickness of about one millimeter.
