6. China plans to build at least 4,000 kilometers of new railway lines this year, including 2,000 km of high-speed lines. In 2020, measures will continue to be taken to bolster areas of weakness in the nation's railway infrastructure, for example, construction of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway.
