Wuhan mourns death of doctor who warned of virus

The Wuhan government released a notice, mourning the doctor who sounded an early warning about the novel coronavirus outbreak and died of the disease.
"We are so regretful about the death of doctor Li Wenliang, who died after attempts to resuscitate were unsuccessful," said the notice posted on the official government website on Friday morning.
It also expressed respect to Li's efforts in treating infected patients as a doctor and conveyed sincere condolences to Li's family.
The 34-year-old doctor died of an infection by the novel coronavirus at 2:58 am Friday, according to a statement from Wuhan Central Hospital.
