Illegitimate acts in enforcing laws should be rectified, Premier Li Keqiang said at a national teleconference on deepening reforms to streamline administration and delegate powers, improve regulation and upgrade services, and the development of market entities on June 2.

Unjustified law enforcement might erode market confidence and public trust in the government, as well as social fairness and justice, the Premier said.

Loose law enforcement, inconsiderate and rude approaches, arbitrary charges, unwarranted fines and unjustified financial levies should be resolutely rectified, Premier Li stressed.
