Questions raised over genetic sequence in Moderna patent

An international team of scientists recently found that a small piece of genetic sequence in the coronavirus is identical to a partial genetic sequence patented by Moderna, the American pharmaceutical company, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, sparking debate.
