Shanghai announces new COVID-19 rules

All travelers to Shanghai from other provinces will be denied entry to most indoor public places upon their arrival for five days starting Thursday, according to local officials on Tuesday.
Those who have been in Shanghai for less than five days are not allowed to enter public places such as restaurants (including bars), shopping centers, supermarkets, barbershops, gyms and other indoor entertainment venues.
New arrivals shall take an extra nucleic acid testing on the fifth day, in additional to one nucleic acid test every day for three days upon arrival.
People arriving in Shanghai with a green code will have their health code stamped with "arriving Shanghai for less than five days". The restriction tag will be removed if the nucleic acid test result on the fifth day is negative.
