Highlights: Built in 1997, West Lake was one of the first golf courses to open in Zhejiang province. Designed by American golf master Jack Nicklaus, it measures 7,039 yards (6,436 meters).Golf was first incorporated into the Olympic Games in 1900 and the Asian Games in 1982. The Hangzhou games mark the first time professional golfers will compete in the Asiad. The course has been renovated to meet the standards required of the Asian Games. Four gold medals will be up for grabs here.
