Expats delight in rich art and culture of Suzhou
A group of seven expats from Finland, India, Iran, Pakistan and Bangladesh embarked on an amazing journey to explore the Second Suzhou Jinji Lake China-France Culture and Art Week of 2023 in Suzhou Industrial Park from Oct 26 to 27.
During this two-day trip, they immersed themselves in photography and street painting exhibitions, engaged in a reading session, savored the delicate art of Suzhou-style embroidery, and explored cutting-edge VR technology. Their journey was a delightful fusion of Chinese and French cultures set against the backdrop of the picturesque lakeside scenery.
The culture and art week was held from Oct 21 to 28, aiming to foster cultural exchanges. The event offered a multitude of fascinating activities, including cultural market, ballet and symphony performances, and food festival.
