Former US legislator lauds Chinese people's long-term view

Representatives from five continents visited Shanghai before attending the 2024 Legislators Forum for Friendly Exchanges. Robert Hertzberg, former speaker of the California State Assembly and former majority leader of the California State Senate, notes Chinese people have a longer term view, saying, "We partner and build bridges, and a lot of the walls come down. That's what's going to happen."
