The World Research Travel Conference 2024 was held in Penang, Malaysia, from Nov 3 to 7, marking the 50th anniversary of China-Malaysia diplomatic relations. The conference, themed "Research Travel - Opportunities, Synergies, and Sustainabilities," brought together global leaders in tourism and education, with the Gansu Performance Group's Cultural Tourism Development Company among the distinguished attendees.
At the opening ceremony, Ancient Sound of Dunhuang Educational Base showcased A Thousand-Year Dream, the world's first cave-style immersive theatrical production. The performance brought the Mogao Grottoes to life through iconic characters like the Vajra warriors and celestial musicians, earning widespread acclaim from international cultural and tourism professionals.
