On Nov 21, photovoltaic solar panels on the roof of Shandong Zhushi Pharmaceutical Group Co Ltd's factory were successfully connected to the grid, more than three months ahead of schedule. This marks that the enterprise has taken a solid step in the fields of green energy transformation and sustainable development.

Shandong Zhushi Pharmaceutical Group Co Ltd is a large private enterprise integrating research and development, production and sales in the fields of medical devices, biological reagents, health foods, disinfectants and sanitary products, and cosmetics among others. Its annual electricity consumption reaches more than 9 million kilowatt-hours, and the annual electricity cost is over 7 million yuan. In March 2024, Zhushi Pharmaceutical joined hands with Shan County Shanneng New Energy Development Co Ltd to carry out a 4.4-megawatt distributed photovoltaic effect project. A total of 6,567 photovoltaic panels were installed and covered an area of 15,104 square meters.
