Chinese icebreaker returns to Shanghai after polar research

On April 8, Chinese polar research icebreaker Xuelong, or Snow Dragon, returned to Shanghai, marking the successful completion of the main tasks by China's 41st Antarctic expedition team.
The team, comprising 516 members from 118 domestic and overseas institutions, voyaged a total distance of over 27,000 nautical miles in 159 days.
