CPAA Theatres, a subsidiary of China Arts and Entertainment Group Ltd., is marking its 15th anniversary with a five-month-long performance season and special offers, highlighting its growth into a leading national and international performing arts platform since its 2010 inception in Guangzhou.

The 15th anniversary performance season, which kicks off this Friday and runs until September 30th, will feature over 30 high-quality productions, including plays, dance performances, and concerts, staged across 12 major cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu.

To celebrate, CPAA Theatres is offering over 5,000 half-price tickets for select premium performances, including the acclaimed play Father, the dance production The Flowers of War, and concerts by international artists.

From its beginnings in Guangzhou, CPAA Theatres has expanded to directly manage 20 theaters and connect with an additional 70 venues across China and internationally. Over the past decade and a half, it has evolved into a comprehensive performing arts powerhouse, actively involved in theater management, production, marketing, arts education, and global collaborations.

CPAA Theatres annually supports major arts festivals and facilitates tours of both internationally renowned productions like Phantom of the Opera and Cats, as well as original Chinese masterpieces such as the opera Marco Polo and stage adaptations of classic national literature.

Beyond its domestic success, CPAA Theatres is a driving force behind the Silk Road International League of Theatres, a significant global network comprising 180 members from 48 countries. This league stands as one of the largest platforms for international theatrical exchange and collaboration. With prominent figures like conductor Tan Dun and opera singer Dai Yuqiang serving as advisors, CPAA Theatres actively fosters connections and promotes Chinese performing arts on the global stage.
