Global trade flourishes at Ningbo export e-commerce expo

The 2025 China (Ningbo) Export Cross-Border E-Commerce Expo attracted 75,000 professional visitors from May 28 to May 30 – cementing its reputation as one of China's most influential trade events.

E-commerce platform eMAG – often called "Romania's JD.com" – highlighted opportunities for Chinese businesses looking to enter Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary. Since establishing its operations center in Ningbo in 2023, the platform has expanded its seller’s base from a handful to over 300.

This year's expo showcased cutting-edge products, including a high-efficiency tire inflator that eliminates the waiting time between uses, a portable seasoning grinder designed for campers and smart sofa that integrating sleep-enhancing and voice-controlled features. Additionally, Ningbo tech company Youwei Technology unveiled an advanced e-commerce software platform that simplifies seller operations.

Manufacturers and suppliers from Kazakhstan and Malaysia participated in the event, promoting locally produced toys and furniture. Several global e-commerce platforms – including Vente-unique from France and Vietnam's Baobao Express – sought partnerships with Chinese exporters.

With businesses from over 30 countries in attendance, the Ningbo expo reinforced its position as a key hub for cross-border trade. As product innovation and logistics optimization drive new opportunities forwards, the event continues to be a springboard for global commerce.
