Hotel marks anniversary

Nuo Beijing Hotel is commemorating its 10th anniversary in June with a series of public events that explore the intersection of traditional Chinese culture and contemporary urban life.

Known for its architectural and design elements inspired by Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) literati aesthetics, the hotel has adopted the theme "inheriting the past for the present" across its spaces. The anniversary program continues this narrative through curated dining experiences and open-air festivities.

At N'Joy, the hotel's all-day dining restaurant, a brunch event set to live classical music is held against a backdrop of blue-and-white porcelain. Performances included well-known pieces such as The Blue Danube and Canon, accompanied by a buffet service designed around the theme of memory and tradition.

Jia, the hotel's Chinese restaurant recognized by the Michelin Guide for six consecutive years, offered a set menu featuring reinterpreted classic dishes. The selection drew on both traditional recipes and contemporary culinary trends, highlighting changes in taste and presentation over the past decade.

An outdoor food festival also took place on the hotel grounds, featuring DJs and food stalls from both the hotel's own culinary teams and nearby community restaurants. The event aimed to create a space for shared celebration through food, music, and public gathering.
