Livestream event promotes significance of Beijing Central Axis
A livestream event centered on the Beijing Central Axis was hosted in Beijing on July 26, aimed at promoting the site's historical and cultural significance.
Organized by the Beijing Central Axis Protection Foundation, the livestream was organized into three sections — expert dialogue, celebrity sharing sessions, and a merchandise showcase.
The livestream was broadcast through six social media accounts on Douyin and WeChat Channels, attracting more than 2.11 million views.
In the expert dialogue section, scholars Yu Dan and Li Jianping ascended the Zhengyangmen Gate to discuss the Central Axis' historical and cultural value.
They later joined Li Chaoqun, the product director of the Tencent SSV digital culture lab, actress Zhu Xijuan, and director Jiang Ping, among other celebrity guests, to share their memories and experiences of the Beijing Central Axis heritage sites.
More than 50 cultural products related to the Central Axis were featured in the merchandise showcase, including books, creative cultural products and a themed board game.
