East China's Zhejiang province launched its AI-driven inbound tourism service platform "Zhejiang Travel" in Hangzhou, the provincial capital, on June 26.

Within its first month of launch, Zhejiang Travel has reshaped inbound tourism services with its innovative features: one-click planning, one-stop Easy Go, and one-on-one AI assistance.

Tourists can get personalized itineraries in seconds by inputting travel dates, destinations, companions, and preferences. The tool integrates real-time passenger flow, transport updates, and budget preferences, and supports one-click bookings for scenic spots, meals, and hotels.

The "Easy Go" service code streamlines the entire journey — from customs clearance and mobile payments to hotel check-ins. It offers a digital wallet binding overseas bank cards for barrier-free payments and 2-minute hotel check-ins.

The AI assistance enhances travel experience by recommending nearby hidden gems, local restaurants, and cultural activities based on location. A standout feature is smart luggage routing, transferring bags between airports, hotels, and high-speed rail stations — enabling "hands-free" travel.

It also provides real-time translation with 94 percent accuracy for various languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, French, and Russian. The simultaneous interpretation feature, specifically designed for inbound tours, instantly interprets Chinese commentary into visitors' native languages, addressing the shortage of multilingual tour guides.

The service platform is available via WeChat and Alipay mini-programs and web browsers.
