    This September, Shanghai will host a dynamic lineup of international trade shows and industry gatherings. From smart cities and textiles to furniture, rubber, and advanced manufacturing, the city's exhibition halls will come alive with innovation, design, and global exchange.

     

    Tomorrow. City Shanghai 2025

    Tomorrow. City is a platform created by the organizers of the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona. While SCEWC is a leading global congress that brings together governments, companies, and experts to discuss smart city strategies and technologies, Tomorrow. City serves as its public extension. Through exhibitions, interactive experiences, and cultural events, it showcases how future cities may look and feel, making the concept of smart and sustainable urban living accessible to all.

    This year, Tomorrow. City Shanghai will feature a program built around five key formats:

    • City Awards, recognizing best practices as models for smart city development
    • City Solution, an expo highlighting the smart city business ecosystem
    • City Dialogue, public sessions fostering exchange among government, academia, and industry
    • Cities Go, a pavilion presenting full smart city projects and cooperation opportunities
    • City Challenge, a closed-door session connecting companies, stakeholders, and decision-makers to explore Asian projects and opportunities

    China International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories (Autumn Edition)

    China's largest autumn fashion and textile event unites four flagship shows: Intertextile, China International Fashion Fair, Yarn Expo, and China International Knitting Fair. Spanning 350,000 square meters, it hosts nearly 5,200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions. Expect trend releases, immersive showcases, industry forums, and tailored matchmaking, creating a full supply chain ecosystem from yarn to finished garments. It stands as a must-attend hub for discovering global resources and market opportunities.

    The 56th China International Furniture Fair (Shanghai)

    Founded in 1998, CIFF Shanghai has grown into the leading one-stop trade platform for the global home furnishings industry. Covering the entire industrial chain, it features sleep systems, sofas, office and hotel furniture, production equipment, decor, textiles, and outdoor living. With more than 1,500 brands and 150,000 visitors, it also hosts concurrent events such as the China International Furniture Machinery & Woodworking Machinery Fair, creating a global stage where design meets business.

    The 30th Furniture China

    Launched in 1993, Furniture China has grown into a leading international trade and lifestyle platform. Now in its 30th edition, it integrates export and domestic markets, physical and digital trade, and exhibition-store linkages. The 2024 edition attracted more than 167,000 visits, including 28,644 from overseas, and featured over 3,200 global exhibitors across 350,000 sq m. From original design to modern living, it remains a vital meeting point for buyers, brands, and creators worldwide.

    The 23rd International Exhibition on Rubber Technology

    When: Sept 17 to 19

    Where: Shanghai New International Expo Centre, No 2345 Longyang Road, Pudong New Area

    Since 1998, the International Exhibition on Rubber Technology, also known as RubberTech China, has been the go-to platform for innovation, information exchange, and trade in the rubber industry. In 2025, it will be held alongside the International Chemical Industry Fair and the Adhesives and Sealants Expo, together forming China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Week. The show also hosts the World Elastomer Technology and Engineering Forum, drawing more than 90,000 visits from around the globe.
