The Netherlands organized 22 companies to participate in the expo and held a series of promotional activities, with experts in Dutch floriculture sharing advanced cultivation experiences on-site.
Tim Scalongne, managing director of Hasfarm, from the Netherlands, said that China's flower market has developed rapidly over the past 20 years due to increased domestic demand, with the growing middle-income group consuming more and more cut flowers.
He added, there has been significant cooperation between the Netherlands and China, particularly in the field of horticulture. A key area of collaboration is technology sharing, which has enabled the cultivation of high-end, high-quality flowers in China.
