Ministry sees 2010 imports at US$1 trillionBy ()
Updated: 2007-06-28 15:52 China's imports are projected at 1 trillion US dollars in 2010, from the current level of around 800 billion, Ministry of Commerce spokesman Wang Xinpei said at a briefing. China has been attempting to expand imports, as well as cut or remove export tax rebates on a wide range of products, in order to help reduce the country's trade surplus, Wang said.
