As for the development of the digital content industry, Ma said the industry is on a "fast lane" in China, given the popularity of mobile Internet, and brings a vital opportunity to boost the country's cultural industry.
"However, the digital content industry in China is still under dark clouds of Internet piracy," he said. "The government needs to speed up legislation to tighten regulations."
The digital content industry in China still favors quantity over quality now, Ma said, adding, "the creativity of both professionals and amateurs has not been fully tapped yet".
