Person jumps to death on Beijing subway

BEIJING: A person, whose identity was not known yet, jumped onto the tracks of the No. 1 Line subway in Beijing Friday morning and died on the spot.

The No. 1 Line and Batong Line subways suspended operation after the suicide at about 8:25 am, said the Beijing Subway Company.
