Girls looking for Mr Right, not right career

With job markets hit by the global financial slowdown, women say they are more likely to be interested in a date than a job interview, with many seeing marriage as their only chance to end their employment nightmares and secure a bright future.

Gao Haiyan, the CEO of online matchmaking firm Jiayuan.com.cn, told China Daily yesterday that the number of female college graduates signing up to her website had increased 20 percent last year.
