    Rainstorm alarm on the Yangtze River released

    The China Central Meteorological Station (CMS) released a storm warning for the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the southern area to the river Sunday.

    The alarm warned of heavy to torrential rainstorms to hit the area on Sunday and Monday.

    The affected areas include the southern parts of east China's Anhui and Jiangsu provinces, the northern parts of east China's Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces, the central and northern parts of central China's Hunan Province and the northern part of southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Some of the areas can expect thunderstorms or hurricanes, according to the CMS.
