    ( 2003-07-18 10:40) (Agencies)

Xu Xiang led a Chinese one-two in the final of the men's one-metre springboard on Thursday and ended the golden run of Russia's Alexander Dobroskok at the world swimming championships.

Xu, who finished down in third place in his semi-final, amassed 431.94 points from his six dives in the final to win from team mate Wang Kenan, with Finland's Joona Puhakka third.

Wang, top man in the semi-final, had to settle for silver with 412.41 points, while Puhakka claimed the bronze with 391.26.

Dobroskok, who shared victory with Dmitry Sautin in Sunday's three-metre synchronised event and won Tuesday's individual three-metre springboard title, won his semi-final but finished out of the medals in fourth place in the six-man final on 378.45.
