HKSAR passport holders have visa-free access to Central Africa
    ( 2003-08-16 11:04) (Xinhua)

The Embassy of the Central African Republic in Beijing confirmed its government has agreed to grant visa-free access to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) passport holders for a stay up to 15 days with immediate effect, a spokesman announced Friday.

"We welcome the decision of the government of the Central African Republic," a HKSAR government spokesman said.

The availability of visa-free access to the Central African Republic has brought to 125 the total number of countries and regions agreeing to grant visa-free access to HKSAR passport holders.

Currently, nationals of the Central African Republic may visit Hong Kong visa-free for a stay up to 14 days.
