A gas canister exploded Monday in a Tel Aviv restaurant in Israel, wounding several people, police said.

Tel Aviv Police Chief Yossi Sedbon said several people were wounded in the explosion, including one person who was in serious condition.

"We have no indication that this was a terrorist attack," Sedbon told Army Radio.
