Israel's Sharon cuts short India visit over blasts
    ( 2003-09-10 13:33) (Agencies)

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will leave India for home Wednesday, a day earlier than scheduled, in the wake of twin bomb blasts in Israel, an official said.

"The Prime Minister has decided to curtail his trip following the attacks," a source in Sharon's office said.

Palestinian suicide bombers killed at least 13 people in two separate attacks just hours apart in Israel Tuesday, dealing two shattering blows to a collapsing U.S.-backed peace plan.
