    Mountain flooding kills 6 people in east China

    Mountain flooding caused by torrential rains late Saturday night left six people dead and another eight missing in east China's Fujian Province by 2 p.m. Sunday, local government sources said.

    Rainstorms hit Songkou and Changqing towns in Yongtai County at 10 p.m. Saturday, inundating many houses nearby. Local authorities are organizing the relief effort and searching for the missing.
