Beijing faces tough situation against AIDS
    ( 2003-11-06 17:14) (crienglish.com)

Beijing has a hard road ahead in preventing and controlling the deadly AIDS virus.

Reports from the Beijing Hygiene Bureau show that the disease is still spreading rapidly through the capital.

In the first nine months of this year, 229 tested HIV positive or became AIDS patients.

Those at greatest risk are drug addicts, migrant workers, and people who engage in casual, unprotected sex.
