    Jones considers to fight Tyson
    ( 2003-11-12 11:34) (Xinhua)

World WBA heavyweight champion Roy Jones Jr. took his next bout seriously as he is considering a fight against Mike Tyson.

Jones dropped almost 25 pounds to regain the WBA light heavyweight title from Antonio Tarver Saturday, and said he would prefer to fight heavyweight category after the victory.

"Mike Tyson would be the ultimate," Jones said. "It would be the Lotto fight. It would be something the whole world wants to see. It would break all the records."

Jones and Tyson have spoken at least twice in recent weeks, including during a chance meeting at a Los Angeles Lakers game.

"Mike is definitely interested. Both parties want this fight to happen," Tyson attorney Stephen Espinoza said. "There are still a lot of issues to be dealt with, but there was been contact."
