    China, Japan handle chemical bombs
    ( 2003-11-14 22:45) (newsphoto)

Chinese and Japanese experts work together this week in Qiqihar, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, to seal off and destroy chemical weapons stored in a warehouse in the city. Japanese troops left countless chemical weapons in Northeast China at the end of World War II. Some of the abandoned chemical weapons were found recently in the city and other places in Northeast China, causing death and injury. [newsphoto.com.cn]
