Chinese men faces big challenge in ITTF: coach

China's male players will face big challenge in the ITTF Pro Tour Finals,
Chinese head coach Liu Guoliang said here on Thursday.
Liu said "We will face more challenge in the two days to come, but we have
confidence to play better."
The world's top ranked Chinese Ma Lin and Wang Liqin both suffered stunning
defeats on the first day of the Finals.
Sweden's Jens Lundqvist shocked Ma 4-2 (4-11, 13-11, 11-9, 12-10, 8-11, 11-9)
while South Korea's Ryu Seung-Min stunned Wang 6-11, 15-13, 7-11, 11-4, 7-11,
11-5, 11-8.
"The two had never met and Ma Lin wasn't comfortable with Lundqvist's
serves," said Liu.
