China secured the women's singles title of the ITTF Pro Tour Finals after making a clean sweep of the four semi-final berths in Guangzhou on Friday.

Top seed Zhang Yining beat rising star Lin Ling of Hong Kong, China 11-5, 11-4, 13-11, 11-5, while Olympic champion Wang Nan powered past European number one Tamara Boros of Croatia 11-8, 8-11, 6-11, 8-11, 12-10, 11-6, 11-9, to reach the semi-finals.

In an all-Chinese affair, Guo Yan edged out Guo Yue 11-1, 9-11,11-8, 12-10, 11-6 to set up a semi-final showdown with fellow Chinese Niu Jianfeng, who shocked sixth seed Tie Yana of Hong Kong, China, 9-11, 11-7, 11-7, 8-11, 11-5, 11-7.
