Water level falls in Yangtze River
    ( 2003-12-15 15:17) (newsphoto)

A ship docks in the Jiujiang section of the Yangtze River December 14, 2003. Water levels in this section of China's longest river fell to 7.4 meters Sunday -- the lowest for December in more than 20 years. The falling levels were caused by a lack of rain in the middle and upper reaches of the river, according to experts. [newsphoto]
