Witnesses: Iraq tanker blast kills two GIs

A U.S. military tanker truck
exploded on a road outside Baghdad on Friday, and witnesses said two U.S.
soldiers were killed and another was wounded.
The casualty reports couldn't be immediately confirmed.
The witnesses said the truck was blown up by a homemade explosive about 7:50
a.m., but the cause was not immediately clear.
Television footage showed clouds of black smoke rising from the tanker, near
Abu Ghraib about 20 miles outside the capital on the road to
Fallujah.
