    Train attacked in western Iraq

    A train derailed after being attacked by guerillas in western Iraq, the US military said on Saturday.

    The Iraqi train en route to Habbaniyah was attacked with a rocket-propelled grenade on Friday, the 82nd Airborne Division said in a statement.Insurgents had previously ambushed trains ferrying goods and equipments for the US army.

    Habbaniyah, 80 km west of Baghdad, is located in the al-Anbar Province, home to the restive towns of Ramadi and Fallujah.On Friday, an oil tanker travelling in convoy caught fire near Ramadi after it was hit by a roadside bomb and ensuing fire.

    Three US soldiers were wounded.One US soldier was killed and another wounded when a US reconnaissance helicopter was brought down by ground fire in Fallujah midday Friday.
