Senior CPC official meets Swiss guests

He Guoqiang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee
of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met here Tuesday with Walter Fust,
head of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and his
party.
The SDC has operated a training program with the China Training Center for
Senior Personnel Management Officials (CTCSPMO) since 1993, and has
trained more than 500 Chinese officials to date.
He, also a member of the Secretariat and head of the Organization
Department of the CPC Central Committee, praised the training program,
saying it had become an important part of the two governments'
cooperation.
The CTCSPMO and the SDC signed an agreement to start the third phase of
training, which will allow nearly 600 Chinese officials to research and
train in Europe.
