Classic dance: Shanghai Ballet Company will restage two productions "La Sylphide" and "Serenade."

The dance originates from August Bournonville's "La Sylphide," which premiered in 1836 and is one of the most important classics in Romanticism.

A milestone in dance history, "Serenade" is one of George Balanchine's neo-classical works.

The ballet is performed by 28 dancers in blue costumes before a blue background.
