Girl punished for not wanting to sleep

A 5-year-old girl was punished by being made to bask in the sun at noon on a hot summer day, because she did not like to have a nap, reports Chutian Jinbao.

The girl received corporal punishment twice this month in a kindergarten in Wuhan of Hubei Province.

The teacher ordered the girl to stand under burning sun at noon as the girl refused to have a cat nap recently. The girl's mother learned about the case and complained to the owner of the kindergarten. The owner promised to investigate the case.
