Beijing auto racing expo planned in September

Automakers, dealers, suppliers of auto parts and components, and racing clubs will drive later this year to Beijing Goldenport Motor Park in the northeastern part of the capital city, to attend the first Beijing International Racing Car Expo.

The expo, scheduled for September 14-18 this year, will showcase some well-known car models, including racing car models, refitted cars and auto parts and components, said the organizer of the expo, Beijing International Racing Car Exposition Organizing Committee.

Auto racing clubs at the expo will stage competitions in auto racings, refittings and other auto cultural activities. Visitors will also have a chance to consult automakers and experts about cars and their maintenance, the organizer said.

The sponsor, Beijing Sports Competition Management Center, said the event aims to fuel the favorable development of auto industry and its culture in China.

Beijing Goldenport Motor Park is the first multi-functional, comprehensive auto theme park in China, integrating auto sports, culture, trade and service.
