賈斯．史坦1987年自哥倫比亞大學(xué)畢業(yè)， 1990年獲得文學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。畢業(yè)后，以制作紀(jì)錄片為業(yè)，多年來參與指導(dǎo)、制作，多次獲得獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。他生長(zhǎng)于美國(guó)西雅圖，史坦長(zhǎng)大后移居紐約達(dá)十八年，目前又重返西雅圖與家人同住，并養(yǎng)了一雙叫彗星（Comet）的狗。
