    A total of 12 teams from China and abroad participated in the 2015 China (Shanghai) International Youth Football Invitational. They were Australia's South Melbourne FC, Cameroon Yaoundé 1-APEJES FC, Germany's Youth Football Club Frankfurt, Germany's FK Havelland Team, Russia's LADA Team, Slovakia's SpartakTrnava FC, Spain's Escola Esportiva Guineueta FC, Thailand's Assumption College Thonburi Team, and China's Football Team of Xiamen No. 2 High School, Football Team of No. 7 High School of Dalad Banner, Shanghai U18 Elite Reserve Team and Football Team of No. 1 High School Affiliated to Tongji University.

    South Melbourne FC, Australia

    A team with glorious achievements, South Melbourne FC has won four national championships in Australia and the players are known for their professional and exquisite skills. Many of their players in the U12 and U20 groups are seeded candidates for the national reserve team. They were confident in harvesting handsomely from this tournament.

    Cameroon Yaoundé 1-APEJES FC

    A young and energetic team, Yaoundé1-APEJES FC has been crowned as champion twice in the Cameroon Hope Cup. The team was founded by Idriss Carlos Kameni, a top player of the Cameroon national team. With the support of Wang Bin, a Chinese descendant with French nationality, the best young players were selected from across the country to participate in this tournament in China.

    Youth Football Club Frankfurt, Germany

    Having played in the first and second divisions of the German National League and local club games in the Rhein-Main region, the team represents the city of Frankfurt perfectly. Most of their players are from Carl-von-Weinberg School in Frankfurt, known as the Football Elite School. The team aimed at achieving brilliant results in this tournament.

    FK Havelland Team, Germany

    Being the largest football organization in the State of Brandenburg, the team exemplifies the excellence of German football. Their players, young and talented, come from five different clubs in the State. Upon receipt of an invitation to play in the tournament, a dedicated team of coaches was formed.

    LADA Team, Russia

    LADA is a well-trained and experienced football team established in 2008. It originated from a professional sports school dedicated to the training of athletes for the Olympic Games. The team won 3rd place in both the Samara Regional Cup and the Volga Region Cup in 2014.

    Spartak Trnava FC, Slovakia

    Established in 1923, Spartak Trnava FC is a well-known football team in Trnava, Slovakia. The team has played in the quarterfinals of the European Cup twice and has been the five-time winner of the Czechoslovak Cup, including one championship.

    Escola Esportiva Guineueta FC, Spain

    Founded in 1961, the Escola Esportiva Guineueta FC grew rapidly to become one of the most successful teams in Barcelona. The team currently has 320 players and is one of the three teams under its parent club.

    Assumption College Thonburi Team, Thailand

    With six players chosen to play for the national team, Assumption College Thonburi won the championship in the 18-year-old College Students Football League in 2014, which is the 7th championship it has won in a row. The team has been the three-time winner of the "Princess Sirindhorn" Cup organized independently by the country's Ministry of Sports and has won the championship in the 10th Interstate League and National Football League.

    Fujian Team, China (Football Team of Xiamen No. 2 High School)

    The century-old Xiamen No. 2 High School is one of the earliest schools established in the city of Xiamen and the cradle of China's modern football. It is known for its football education program. The team won 7th place in the National Senior High School Football League in 2009 and 3rd place in the National Youth School Football Championship in both 2013 and 2014.

    Inner Mongolia Team, China (Football Team of No. 7 High School of Dalad Banner)

    The Inner Mongolia Team is comprised of 22-26 players led by head coach Bai Xianfeng. Most of its players are 17 years old from football team of No. 7 High School of Dalad Banner. With support from the government, the team will unite as one and make relentless efforts in the future to establish new records.

    Shanghai Team 1, China (Shanghai U18 Elite Reserve Team)

    Led by famous coaches Chen Yaodong and Zhang Yong, the Shanghai U18 Elite Reserve Team consists of top players who were born in 1997 and 1998. The team has often participated in the national youth football games and won a tournament in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2013.

    Shanghai Team 2, China (Football Team of No. 1 High School Affiliated to Tongji University)

    Enjoying a nationwide fame for its football tradition, No. 1 High School Affiliated to Tongji University holds the presidency of the Shanghai Municipal Campus Football League, Yangpu District Branch. Their men's team stands out in the Shanghai's football community and was crowned as league champion in Shanghai Municipal Campus Football League Cup 2015. In its history, over 100 players trained by the school were selected to join the municipal teams of Shanghai and the national teams.
