風箏之都魅力濰坊

The Discover Weifang media trip was held from July 1 through 5. The trip, organized by China Daily and the Publicity Department of the CPC Committee of Weifang, attracted reporters from nearly 20 overseas media outlets, including The Straits Times, The Star, Nepali Times, Inter Media Japan, United Daily News and Balochistan Point.

The trip allowed the journalists to learn about the city’s kite industry, technology development, folk art development, culture industry and tourism industry.

Journalists visited the Weifang Kite Museum to view the kites and watch the process of making woodblock New Year prints. They also visited Meicun Village Kite Industry Park to gain a better understanding of the development of the kite industry.

The media group visited leading companies in Weifang, including Weichai Power Co, Weifang Software Park and the 3-D Printing Innovation Center in the Weifang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

Visits to Shihu Garden, Guo Weiqu Gallery, Chen Jieqi Residence Museum and Qingzhou Museum displayed the traditional culture development of Weifang in modern society.

Trips to Zhucheng Dinosaur National Geopark and China Tyrannosaurus Museum also allowed the global journalists to gain a better understanding of Zhucheng, a county-level city famous for its dinosaur fossils.

“We noticed that the development zone has very good infrastructure and business environment for startups. It has attracted a lot of innovative talents,” said Ou Su-Hua, a consultant from Taiwan United Daily News.

“I was told the development zone was established in 1991 and is ranked 25th among China’s high-tech zones. I think the development zone must have some unique features that make it develop so rapidly, for instance, talent gathering and premium infrastructures,” she said.

“The development zone has an innovation platform known as Blue Wisdom Valley which was developed to strengthen collaborations between universities and research institutions. I think it is an important factor for the development zone to attract more leading businesses,” she added.

Bae In-sun, a journalist from AJU Business, said despite Weifang not being a big city compared to Shanghai and Beijing, it is still home to many competitive companies. “Foreign acquisition is not an easy task for many Chinese companies, but Weichai Power made it,” Bae said.

“Weifang Software Park gives many support policies for local small companies and attracted many promising businesses. It follows the idea of mass entrepreneurship in China.” Bae said it was the first she had eaten biscuits made using 3-D printing technology. “The tastes are the same but it is an innovative move,” she said.

Foreign reporters shared their findings and thoughts with local media after the trip. China Daily, one of the organizers of this event, used all its distribution channels from online to offline to report the event to boost the awareness of Weifang throughout the world.

“境外媒體聚焦魅力濰坊”大型采訪活動于2015年7月1日至5日圓滿舉辦。此次活動由中共濰坊市委宣傳部與中國日報社共同主辦，并邀請到來自新加坡《海峽時報》、馬來西亞《星報》、韓國《中央日報》、韓國《亞洲經濟》、日本《日本經濟雜志》、尼泊爾《尼泊爾時報》、斯里蘭卡《今日錫蘭》、新加坡《新加坡新傳媒集團新聞部》、巴基斯坦《俾路支斯坦在線》、臺灣《聯(lián)合報》以及《中國日報》等媒體的近20位記者從世界風箏都、科技濰坊、藝術濰坊、文化濰坊、旅游濰坊等方面對濰坊進行了多維度的深入采訪。

境外主流媒體記者團先后采訪了風箏博物館；觀摩了風箏、年畫制作技藝；參觀了眉村風箏產業(yè)基地等，深入了解了濰坊風箏文化的起源與發(fā)展歷程、風箏藝術及工藝、銷售渠道范圍與經濟效益。記者團走訪了位于濰坊國家高新技術產業(yè)開發(fā)區(qū)的3D打印技術創(chuàng)新中心、濰柴集團、濰坊軟件園等核心企業(yè)，領略了一個極具創(chuàng)新的國際化科技園區(qū)風采；參觀采訪了十笏園文化街區(qū)、郭味渠美術館、陳介祺故居陳列館、青州宋城民間文化藝術展演、青州博物館；剪紙、古琴藝術、《撲蝴蝶》等非物質文化遺產項目讓記者們深深感受到了中國傳統(tǒng)文化的博大精深；游覽了東鎮(zhèn)廟沂山風景區(qū)；諸城恐龍國家地質公園、中國暴龍館、世界地質奇觀——恐龍化石群，讓記者們對諸城這座世界罕見的恐龍化石寶庫嘆為觀止。

此次濰坊采訪活動時間很短，卻給記者們留下了深刻的印象，來自臺灣《聯(lián)合報》顧問Ou Su-Hua表示：“濰坊高新區(qū)配套基礎設施及政策創(chuàng)業(yè)環(huán)境都很好，因此吸引了大量創(chuàng)業(yè)型人才在此創(chuàng)業(yè)。高新區(qū)成立于1991年，目前在中國所有高新區(qū)中排名25位，不到30年的時間就取得如此發(fā)展成就，究其原因還是配套基礎設施完善，各項政策落實到位。此外，高新區(qū)還擁有像“藍色硅谷”，通過與國內頂級高校及科研機構的合作，打造更好的創(chuàng)新平臺。這些平臺可以為高新區(qū)創(chuàng)造出“外溢”效應，從而吸引更多的企業(yè)來此創(chuàng)業(yè)?！眮碜皂n國《亞洲經濟》的記者Bae In-sun說：“跟北京、上海比，濰坊雖然不算是大都市，但今天我卻在這里看到很多有競爭力的大企業(yè)。對于中國企業(yè)來說能收購制造業(yè)發(fā)達國家的知名企業(yè)是件很不容易的事情，但這里的濰柴集團做到了。濰坊軟件園為當?shù)氐暮芏嘈∑髽I(yè)提供了很多特惠政策和方便，吸引了大批有實力的企業(yè)，這跟中國目前提倡的萬眾創(chuàng)新的概念是一致的。在這里我第一次親眼看到3D打印機工作和第一次品嘗到3D打印機打印出來的餅干，跟正常制作出來的餅干一樣美味，卻更有創(chuàng)新性。” 媒體記者們回國后紛紛在各自的媒體用他們的筆觸寫了大量關于濰坊之行的所見、所聞、所想?！吨袊請蟆犯侨嬲掀矫婷襟w、網(wǎng)絡媒體、新媒體以及海外合作媒體資源，通過報紙、網(wǎng)絡和微信訂閱號等途徑對活動進行了立體式傳播報道，大幅提升濰坊在世界范圍內的知名度和影響力。
