    A man in his 30s who had been married for three years tended to tremble with fear and found it difficult to even speak in front of his mother-in-law, reported yangtse.com on Thursday.

    According to the man, he did not fear his mother-in-law who was always nice to him but he could not help trembling whenever he saw her. He had been diagnosed with suffering from socialphobia. With three-month help of medicine and psychotherapy, the man finally got rid of his phobia.

    Taxi-calling apps banned at airports, railway stations

    Taxi-calling apps will not be allowed at airports and railway stations, and bargaining over taxi calling service that violates regulations will also not be permitted, according to a notice issued by the Ministry of Transport, said people.cn on Friday.

    In order to provide services to those customers who don't use these apps, on-call apps will not be allowed in public places and waiting areas where there is a taxi service available.

    Zhejiang sees rise in HIV-infected students

    Number of students infected with HIV in Zhejiang province has seen a rapid increase, with most of the cases being reported among men, according to a report from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Zhejiang province, said Qianjiang Evening News on Thursday.

    Most of students infected with HIV are male, accounting for 82.2 percent and 94.1 percent respectively. And they primarily got infected through heterosexual and homosexual relationship.

    Head of detention house under investigation

    The director of the detention house of Renshou county is being investigated by the local people's procuratorate on suspicion of arranging the release of inmates without authorization, Chengdu Commercial Daily reported on Thursday.

    Nanjing plans security checks aboard buses

    Nanjing said it will have staff conduct security checks on buses, a move that follows three bus fires in Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Changsha in less than 10 days, Oriental Guardian reported on Tuesday.

    Safety officers, about one per bus, will conduct security checks and question people acting suspiciously, said Zhu Ming, chairman of Nanjing Public Transport Co.

    Six men were arrested on suspicion of trafficking a Bengal tiger cub in Sanmenxia, Henan province, on Wednesday, the People's Daily website reported on Thursday.

    The suspects allegedly bought a Bengal tiger cub for 250,000 yuan ($40,300) on the Internet and were trying to see it when police received a tip.

    Hong Kong allows transsexual marriages

    The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region amended its marriage registration regulation and started accepting transsexuals' new gender and their marriage applications on Thursday, Southern Metropolis Daily reported.

    The amended draft was released this March, informing residents in Hong Kong that transsexuals have the right to register to marry under their new gender, the report said.
