    You Zhong Ding Da was born in Jianpan village, one of just a handful of small Tibetan communities within the Jiuzhaigou National park. He has grown up seeing his home valley in northern Sichuan province change into one of the China’s most popular tourist destinations. > more

      Video Journalist D J Clark reports from around the world for China Daily

    D J Clark has worked worldwide as a journalist for more than 20 years. He specialises in multimedia story telling in China, where he has lived for the past four years. Clark also teaches multimedia Journalism in China for the University of Bolton.

      Search for the Snow Monkey: Up until the early 1960's it had been thought that the Yunnan Snow Monkey was extinct but recent surveys have found around 15,000 of them living in a few isolated forests high in the mountains of northern Yunnan.

      Reacting to Climate Change: Working with local journalist graduates from the Konrad Adenauer Asia Center for Journalism throughout Asia, D J Clark tells a series of stories of ordinary Asian people who are fighting the effects of global warming with their communities.

      BEIJINGERS: Taking inspiration from James Joyce's "Dubliners" the Beijingers stories seek to reveal some of the unknown corners of China's capital through character based video narratives.

      EYE ON CHINA: Looking from the outside back, the "Eye on China" series explores different ways in which people from around the world engage with the world's fastest growing economy. Each episode concentrates on a single issue from one country.
