Beijing's Urban Best Practices Area Pavilion let five two-year-olds born on the opening day of Beijing Olympics hit a Fou drum, which was used at the opening of Beijing Olympics to mark the 2nd anniversary of the sports event.

August 8 of 2010 marks the 2nd anniversary of the Beijing Olympics opening and also the 100th day of Expo 2010. It’s also about two year away from the London Olympics.

The five two-year-olds became the focus of the people as they were born during the opening day of the Beijing Olympics. They were from Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Yinchuan and Shanghai. Among them were the child of Olympic project constructor and the child who has experienced the great earthquake hitting Sichuan in 2008.

The five two-year-olds handed over the silk bags containing blessings to the London Olympics to staff members of London UBPA Pavilion. The director of the London UBPA Pavilion also gave emblems to these two-year-olds and let staff members to help them to wear these emblems.

Beijing UBPA Pavilion director, his London counterpart and the five two-year-olds hit a Fou drum, which was used at the opening of Beijing Olympics in August in 2008, to mark the 2nd anniversary of the Beijing Olympics and to show support to the London Olympics in 2012.

Beijing's UBPA Pavilion will also host an Olympic exhibition featuring many valuable Olympic items.

Beijing's UBPA Pavilion also held a torch relay with Barcelona UBPA Pavilion in May to mark Olympic host cities' friendship. Visitors can see both the Barcelona Olympic torch and the Beijing Olympic torch at Beijing UBPA Pavilion.
